📷 Motherhood & Memories:

Raising a Wild Two-Year-Old While Running a Photography Business

If I had to describe life right now in one word, it would be: full.

Full of tiny fingerprints on windows and camera lenses. Full of toddler giggles, snack crumbs in the car, and last-minute editing sessions during nap time. Full of wild love ,and sometimes wild chaos, too.

I’m a mom to a two-year-old boy who has more energy in his little legs than I’ve ever known possible. He’s sweet and silly, curious and fearless, and he teaches me something new every single day , about patience, presence, and how fast time truly flies.

At the same time, I run a photography business that I love deeply. I get to witness couples say "I do," families snuggle their babies, and moments that will never happen again. I pour my heart into every gallery I deliver , even if I’m sipping cold coffee and editing with a toddler in my lap.

Balancing both worlds isn’t always pretty or perfect. Some days, I feel like I’m nailing it. Other days, I’m just trying to keep up. But here’s what I know: both motherhood and photography are gifts ,and I get to live in the middle of that magic.

Being a photographer has taught me to slow down and appreciate the fleeting seasons. Being a mom has made me feel those moments in a whole new way. I see life differently now ,not just through a lens, but through the eyes of a little boy who reminds me to live fully, love big, and find joy in the simplest things.

So if you're a client reading this, thank you for trusting a mama who sometimes answers emails during bedtime and who shows up to every session with both camera gear and Goldfish crackers in her bag. You’re not just booking a photographer ,you’re supporting a dream, a family, and a little boy who thinks his mama takes pictures of “magic.”

And honestly? He’s not wrong. 💛
